
Helen Mashburn is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a Master of Science in Psychology, specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis. She began her academic journey in Honduras, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology magna cum laude from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras (UNAH). Committed to advancing her expertise, she later earned her master’s degree in Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT).
Before becoming a BCBA in 2021, Helen worked for over three years as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), gaining hands-on experience delivering individualized ABA services. Her areas of focus include conducting functional behavior assessments, developing skill acquisition programs, training caregivers, and supervising clinical staff to promote effective and ethical treatment.
In December 2022, Helen founded Embracing Challenges Services, an ABA therapy agency devoted to empowering individuals and families through evidence-based, person-centered behavioral support across home, school, and community settings.
