At Embracing Challenges Services, we work hard to achieve your child’s highest potential. We use the scientifically proven principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis to teach children to communicate effectively, play functionally, socially engage appropriately, and, most importantly, live independently. We use the same principles to reduce maladaptive behaviors such as tantrums, aggression, task refusal (disobedience), and self-injurious behaviors.
Each treatment is individualized to meet the specific needs of your child whether it’s at home or out in the community. We also encourage, train, and guide parents and families to help their children through life’s challenges and achieve success. Through the delivery of effective, evidence-based high-quality behavioral services, our goal is to provide therapeutic services to enhance children’s learning, reduce maladaptive behaviors to a minimum, and take each child to his or her maximum potential.
For many parents whose child is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), it can seem overwhelming and the future may appear questionable. Families with a child on the spectrum are faced with a unique and challenging journey, and at Embracing Challenges Services we understand the importance of support and training through each new stage you encounter. We want you to know you are not alone in this journey and would encourage you to join our parent support group. Over the course of 8 weeks, we will be offering a safe space to provide tools, experiences and support.
Along with the support group we will be having a social skills group for your child to take that opportunity to strength their ability for meaningful social relationships.
In the Social Skills Group we cover skills like greeting peers and adults, initial social interaction with peers, sharing with peers, taking turns, join attention, and cooperative play.

The Registered Behavior Technician™ (RBT®) is a paraprofessional who practices under the close and ongoing supervision of either a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® (BCaBA®), or other individual meeting the BACB requirements for noncertified RBT supervisors.
The RBT is the individual who helps train and implement many of the procedures outlined in a formal behavior services plan, as written and supervised by a BCBA. While an individual may have the generic job title of “ABA Technician,” the term, “RBT” following your name indicates that you have met the rigorous requirements allowing you to earn this nationally recognized professional credential. At Embracing Challenges Services we provide the 40 hour RBT Training needed as a first step to provide Registered Behavior Technician
